We believe that art is a catalyst for reflection and a tool for self-discovery and mindfulness, and art lends a sense of warmth, visual interest and soul to The Corner Suite's Downtown skincare clinic and beauty spa.
We were honored to invite artist and collaborative designer, Katherine Sandoz, of Vernonburg, GA, to create a large-scale mural on the facade our boutique in Downtown Savannah. The multi-layered, color-fueled, landscape inspired wall mural reflects the aesthetic and milieu of The Corner Suite: botanical skincare, the harmonizing of dynamic compositions, and a belief in transformative health and wellness--in appreciating the pause that nature commands.
Our Founder, Marjani Smith, wanted the large-scale image to feature related elemental subjects (land, water, sky and botanicals), and our team selected a palette rooted not only in the brand but in the surrounding neighborhood and in the human body itself. The Kennickell Group worked to print and install the wall treatment -- Savannah’s first fine-art architectural wrap -- which now greets visitors, pedestrians, students and commuters alike.
